Here are a couple of paintings I've done in preparation for my workshop on pastels and mixed media. The top one is watercolor and pastel and the bottom one has ink drawing and washes as an underpainting. I am having so much fun getting ready to share some new techniques at the workshop. I've been following your work and when I saw the lotus ponds I had to take a moment to tell you how fabulous all of your work is. Wish I lived in Marietta and could take your workshops! I'm a new painter, never tried pastels, and am in awe of the colors you achieve. Consider making DVDs of your workshops to sell?
