This is a small group class that meets in my home studio Wednesday evenings from 7-9 pm. It is suitable for artists of any level. We explore the basic concepts of painting and the techniques of pastel. We have 4 week sessions during which we concentrate a theme. This page will keep students informed about the upcoming classes.
September 2010 4 week Session: Exploring the Underpainting
During the next 4 classes we will explore the art of the underpainting. What, Why and How we use underpaintings with pastel. Each week we will learn about and try a different type of underpainting. Students will need sanded paper for these classes.
